The first BTO album without the participation of founding member Randy Bachman, Street Action was released in 1978 and marked the debut of a heavier sound from the band, prompted by the freedom afforded the members following Randy’s departure.

The final album by bto and the second with the late Jim clench who had replaced randy.title track, Jamaica and minor hit heartache are the standout tracks,there is also an early Bryan Adams song called Wasting time, but by this time bto were running out of steam.it’s ok but by no means a classic although you can never fault Fred turners vocals.for fans only. Rock and Roll Hell is about how music can trap an artist and leave him where he has no control over his or her career.
