2004 winner of the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition Vocals whose judges were none other than Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau and Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kellylee Evans began his career in earth soul pop.This Canadian Ottawa native Jamaica sign turn two albums that earned him a Gemini Award and the award for Best Female Artist of the Year at the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards in 2007. Homecoming end of 2009 for this goddess velvet voice with the recording of the album Nina , beautiful tribute to the artist since it carries with it many years and for which she feels admiration particular, the great Nina Simone. Surrounded by François Moutin on bass, Marvin Sewell on guitar and Andre Ceccarelli on drums, Kellylee Evans and Ninajust “start” a great jazz career.
