“In preparing these hi def remasters, we were very conscientious about maintaining the feel of the original releases while adding a previously unattainable transparency and depth. It now sounds like you’ve set up your chaise lounge right in the middle of Rudy Van Gelder’s studio!” – Blue Note President, Don Was.

Introducing The 3 Sounds is the debut album by the acclaimed jazz trio. The album was very well-received, garnering them fans such as Horace Silver, Sonny Sitt, Miles Davis, and Cannonball Adderley. It is an excellent introductory album for the trio’s music, and is one of the many gems in their much-lauded discography.
